The CASSP Dental Van provides dental care to under-served children 0 up until their 22nd birthday who meet the following requirements:
Do not have a current dental home
Have not seen a dentist in 2 years or more in the Aberdeen Area
No child is turned away for inability to pay
These children are those with the highest need for dental care and have the least amount of resources. This mobile dental unit provides preventive, diagnostic, and restorative services. No child is turned away for inability to pay. However, if their family or guardian have any type of dental insurance, it will be billed by the Delta Dental Mobile Program. An adult must accompany any child seen for dental care as consent must be given for the staff to work with the child.
The Dental Van is a mobile unit that travels to communities around the state. This van is in Aberdeen only on specified dates which varies year by year.
