An outreach provider will be available by phone or email 8:00am - 4:30pm (CT), Monday - Friday For in-person assistance, please call to schedule an appointment. This office serves Aurora, Davison, Hanson, Jerauldm Sanborn and Tripp counties.

Description

Rural Office of Community Services, Inc offers the following basic needs services: - Emergency Rental Assistance Must be behind (i.e.: if rent is due on the 5th, come for assistance after the 5th). Eviction notice is not required, however, there will be a form the landlord needs to complete the verify rent is past due. - Emergency Utility Assistance Must be behind AND have disconnection notice. Employment Program Food Vouchers Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Public Transportation Pass Program - Security deposit or first months rent Can help with one or the other, but not both School supply vouchers (income qualifications apply, children K-12) Weatherization See website for details and application information.
