Fraud Hotline | Social Security Administration

Provides an avenue for individuals to report fraud, waste and abuse within the Social Security Administration's programs and operations. The Fraud Hotline handles allegations regarding violations of law or regulations affecting SSA programs and operations. Examples of some situations that may be reported to the SSA Fraud hotline include, but are not limited to, individuals receiving Social Security Benefits for a child not under their care, individuals continuing to receive and use benefits belonging to a deceased person, concealed marriages or assets from the SSA while receiving disability benefits, and residing overseas and receiving disability benefits. You can submit a report online at https://oig.ssa.gov/report, via phone, mail, fax, or in person at any Social Security Office.
