Training Sessions and Community Activities | Minnehaha Master Gardeners
Individuals can become Master Gardeners by attending a series of training sessions related to horticulture with the understanding they will give back at least 40 hours of volunteer time in the form of Educational Outreach, Service, or Support Activities. Community activities include: Gardening with the Masters (ongoing) Water Festival (annually in March) Plant Sale (annually in May) Garden Tours (every other year in July) Community Gardens (growing season) Horticulture Newsletter From the Ground Up (April - October) Downtown/Old Courthouse Museum Flowerbed Urban Ag Expanded Teaching Garden at Mary Jo Wegener Arboretum
