Includes the offices of Code Enforcement, Building Inspections, and Planning and Zoning. Responsible for providing information to the public on planning, zoning, building, and code compliance-related issues. - Building Inspector - Responsible for reviewing and issuing building permits, providing inspections for new construction and ensuring code compliance - Code Enforcement - Ensures all city ordinances relating to health and safety are followed. Monitors for trash, junk vehicles, overgrown weeds, and other nuisance conditions. - Planning and Zoning - Coordinates requests for variances, plats, and other zoning-related items. Works with City Council for planning and administering contracts for special community development related projects.
