Threat Assessment | Carroll Institute

A detailed safety process used when an individual has made a specific threat toward a school, individual, or group of persons and/or has brought a weapon to school (including threats made on social media). This includes talking with the student, other students involved, family members, school staff, law enforcement, and others with helpful information. It also includes collecting facts and asking important questions to understand the level of risk.
