Dial-A-Ride provides pre-scheduled, curb-to-curb/door to door transportation service in Rapid City operated by the Rapid Transit System. Riders must be pre-approved before scheduling a ride. Application process

All riders must first complete an application, including information provided by a health care worker, and return the completed application to Dial a Ride. Approval may take up to three weeks before being able to use the service. Qualifications are determined by guidelines set forth by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Application forms can be picked up at the Rapid Transit office, via mail (please call), or download from the website.

Fee

One way trip: $3.00, $27.00 10-punch coupons. Zone 2 fare: $3.50, $31.50 10-punch coupons. Monthly pass: $90.00.
