Description

Offers services to eligible voters. Registration of new voters, updates to existing voters and verification of voter data. Administers elections on behalf of the county. Point of contact for the county commission, serving as their clerk during meetings and in compiling data for their use. Arranges the agenda and appointments. Administers the county level indigent care for those who can not afford treatment. Specific criteria is in statute for what is eligible and ineligible. Manages the mental health budget for when people receive treatment but can not afford to do so on their own. Programming is contracted with Community Counseling Services of Huron.
