Services included are Accounts for all revenue generated by the City and all expenditures made, Beer and liquor licenses and permits, Prepares annual report, audit, and budget, Capital Improvement Program, Prepares minutes, files official records, Conducts elections, Prepares and submits grant reports, processes grant reimbursement requests, organizes and maintains all documentation required for city and federal audits, Purchases investment instruments, Coordinates bonding and lease arrangements, Provides administrative support to all City departments, and Parking ticket payments. Also does Registration/licensing for certain businesses within the City of Rapid City including Alcohol (Liquor, Malt Beverage, Wine, Video Lottery Terminal Fee, and Special Event), Adult Oriented Business, Central Station Service, Commercial Refuse, Gems and Precious Metals, Mobile Ice Cream Vendor, Pawn, Second Hand, Security Business, Individual Security, Sidewalk Vending, Taxi Business, and Taxi Driver.
