Watertown Fire Rescue is a dedicated organization with 36 full-time firefighters. Watertown Fire Rescue currently has two fully staffed fire stations serving the citizens of Watertown and surrounding Codington County. The department specializes in: fire investigation, fire prevention and education, fire service training, fire suppression, inspection and pre-planning, plan review, burn permits, fireworks permits, fire extinguisher training to local businesses, smoke detector installation, Public Access Defibrillator program (PAD), and first Aid training to local businesses.
