Homeowners within Sioux Falls city limits who have applied for and been approved for South Dakota's Assessment Freeze for Elderly and Disabled program AND are current on property tax payments.

Fill out the application for Assessment Freeze for the Elderly and Disabled program and submit it to your county treasurer's office

Description

Refunds the municipal portion of property taxes up to $500.00 on owner-occupied homes for homeowners who meet eligibility standards and have applied through either the Minnehaha or Lincoln County Treasurer's Office for the South Dakota's Assessment Freeze for Elderly and Disabled program by April 1. Approved homeowners will receive the refund the next calendar year.
