Vitalant, previously known as United Blood Services, is a non-profit organization that provides a safe and abundant blood supply for most of South Dakota, eastern Wyoming, and northern Nebraska. Volunteers are routinely needed to give blood and blood components, sponsor and coordinate blood drives, deliver blood products to hospitals and provide clerical support to the donor recruitment/marketing departments.
