Motor Vehicle Registrations and Title Transfers: 7:00am - 6:00pm (MT), Monday - Thursday. Title transfers must arrive by 5:00pm in order to have it completed before closing.

Services include collecting fees for property taxes and vehicle licenses (cars, motorcycles, trucks, trailers, commercial vehicles, snowmobiles, and boats), parking permits application and issuing for individuals with a disability, and application assistance for tax reduction / rebate programs for individuals who are disabled and/or elderly (65 or older).
Self-Service Terminal (SST):
Justice Center, 130 Kansas City Street (24 hours a day, 365 days a year)
Department of Revenue main entrance, 221 Mall Drive (24 hours a day/7 days a week)
Department of Motor Vehicle, S Highway 79 (during regular business hours)
All 3 terminals can be used to renew ANY county registration across South Dakota.
Access to the terminals is fast and efficient. The touch screen prompts will walk you through the entire process. The terminal can only be used by individuals who possess a valid South Dakota driver's license or South Dakota identification card and are the owner listed on the title of the vehicle.
