Eligibility

For Rapid City Dyslexia Care - Minimum IQ score of 70, minimum age 6 years, struggle with reading and spelling. For Training for Parents - Any parent who wants to help his/her child in reading and spelling and can commit to working with their child a minimum of 2 hours per week.

Shares information about dyslexia and offers specialized reading and spelling lessons for children and adults, in-person or remote. Also, Training for Parents provides parents (within a 60-minute radius of Rapid City) with a monthly membership, which gains access to articles, books, and DVDs on the topic of dyslexia, training in the Barton Reading and Spelling System, and materials needed to tutor their own children in reading and spelling.
