Sioux Valley Optimist Club | Optimist International

Sioux Valley Optimist Club is one of the local chapters of Optimist International, which focuses on "Bringing Out the Best in youth, in the community and in ourselves." The club supports various youth focused community service programs and projects with volunteers and financially. Optimists promote an active interest in good government and civic affairs to inspire respect for the law, promote patriotism, and work for international accord and friendship among all people. They aid and encourage the development of youth, in the belief that the giving of one's self in service to others will advance the well-being of humankind, community life and the world. Most of all, the club values all children and helps them develop to their full potential by providing hope and a positive vision. Local focus includes: Children's Home Society & Children's Inn, Boys & Girls Clubs, feeding youth programs, and many more.
