Description
Comprehensive planning, zoning and land use approvals, code enforcement, permitting of new construction, and other building improvements are all handled by the department in the unincorporated areas of the county. Can assist homeowners to locate existing septic systems and comply with state regulations. Flood Management is administered through the county Geographic Information Services (GIS) located within the Planning and Zoning Office.
