Description

The Marshall County 24/7 Sobriety Program is an alternative to jail and serves as an alternative sentencing option for the court. The program is used as a bond condition, sentence condition, or as part of probation or parole. The program may also be used as a tool/resource for non-criminal issues. Offers the Preliminary Breath Tests (PBT's) and Urinary Analysis and alternatives. These include Remote Breath (RB) and a Drug Patch. An RB allows the client to test as required, but uses a portable device; on the other hand, a Drug Patch obtains sweat samples from the participants and gets sent for testing. Clients are required to wear the drug patch for 10 to 14 days.
