The Building Inspection Department provides the following services - enforce building ordinances to ensure safe building construction and renovations, issues building permits, inspects new construction (with the exception of plumbing and electrical), contractor licensing, issues permits for food trucks/peddlers/solicitors, enforce the Property Maintenance 'Nuisance' ordinance, floodplain management, code enforcement, and planning & zoning.
