The Public Works Department maintains and oversees the following departments - airport, government buildings, Hydro plant, Sewer, Solid waste, Storm water information, Streets, Snow removal, Water, and Wastewater treatment. Residents of Spearfish needing: Landfill (for disposal of household garbage) - should contact the City of Belle Fourche at 605-892-3530 Residential Recycling - should contact Keiffer Recycling at 605-892-4635 Rubble Site (for disposal of trees/branches, yard waste, furniture, appliances, electronics, etc.) should call the City of Spearfish Public Works main number at 605-642-1333
