Survivor Outreach Services - Military Survivors | South Dakota Department of the Military

 The Survivor Outreach Services (SOS) mission and purpose is to expand and improve services to Military Survivors, provide expertise on local, state and Federal benefits for Military Survivors and deliver individualized support and attention to Military Survivors in South Dakota. Each state and territory has a Survivor Outreach Services Coordinator (SOSC) appointed to provide assistance to Military Surviving Family Members in accessing benefits and entitlements, financial counseling, and providing connections with others who share the same loss.
