Vermillion Lions Club | Lions Clubs International
Volunteers serving their communities to meet humanitarian needs, encourage peace, and promote international understanding through the Lions Club. Vermillion Lions Club collects used eyeglasses and hearing aids as well as provide financial support for both sight and hearing needs (a qualification form needs to be completed). Serves youth by providing scholarships and support local organizations such as Boy and Girl Scouts, HOBY, library programs, and assistance to other community projects as the needs arise. Also, supports community by supporting the Fire and Police Departments, the Edith Siegrist Vermillion Public Library, the W. H. Over Museum, South Dakota Public Broadcasting, Lions Park, The Main (Senior) Street Center and by participating in community events such as the Dakota Day parade and Parade of Lights.
