The landfill recieves residents' non-hazardous solid waste collected curbside by the city and accepts individual loads of approved waste. In addition to household waste, it receives construction and demolition debris, non-hazardous special wastes, and non-infectious medical waste for disposal. Visit the website or call for information on all services, recycling, rates and restrictions. Special events include the Annual City Wide Clean-Up week: Monday, April 20 - Friday, April 24, 2026. Landfill fees - except for tires and mattresses/box springs - are waived for residents. All normal rules still apply. Call or visit website for details. ​A Household Hazardous Waste recycling event will be scheduled in the future.
