The Helpline Center's Volunteer Connections Program serves as the Volunteer Center for the Sioux Falls and Black Hills area by providing the critical link between those who want to volunteer and the agencies that need them. The online volunteer database, https://volunteer.helplinecenter.org/, has hundreds of volunteer opportunities listed for area nonprofits. Call 211 or fill out the Volunteer Updates Form for volunteer options that match your interests and the time you have to give. Volunteering is a wonderful way to meet new friends, help others and make a difference in your community.

The Helpline Center answers the 2-1-1 information and referral line and 9-8-8 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for the state of South Dakota. There are also other support services available.
