The City Administrator is responsible for the overall administration of the City of Hot Springs and overseeing that City Council policies and directives are carried out. Duties include coordinating the work of all City departments and advising the Mayor and City Council on matters relative to the operation of those departments; administering the budget after adopted by the City Council; appoint all department heads and serving as the final administrative authority on personnel matters. Also handles special projects and Council assignments that do not fall within the jurisdiction of any other city department.
