To qualify for assistance, individuals must meet the following criteria:
Residents ages 60 and above who do not have family or other local support for yard work. Individuals under 60 years old with a documented disability.

The annual Rake the Town event is a city-wide event involving community groups and individuals who are willing to help older adults with leaf raking within the Sioux Falls city limits, Harrisburg, Tea, and Brandon.
Rake the Town 2026 will begin Saturday, October 31 - Friday, November 6, 2026.
Registration for Volunteers begins Monday, August 24, 2026
Registration for Homeowners begins Tuesday, September 1, 2026
Registration for Homeowners and volunteers ends on Friday, October 23, 2026
