Description

The Tri-State Museum and Visitor Center houses historical exhibits that document the early settlement and cultural history of the tri-state region of South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming. The museum includes artifacts, pioneer-era displays, and rotating exhibits. The museum maintains and interprets historic structures such as the Johnny Spaulding Cabin and supports community engagement and learning opportunities throughout the year. Also provides visitor services including regional tourist information, guided tours, and a gift shop. The museum offers regular educational activities such as monthly Family Fun Days with age-appropriate topics and interactive components, theatre productions through the Tri-State Performers program, and special events like seasoned exhibits and community brunch presentations.
