Description

Responsible for maintaining and managing the county's road and bridge network, ensuring safe and efficient transportation for residents and visitors. This includes tasks like road construction, pavement rehabilitation, snow and ice removal, bridge maintenance, and traffic control. ​The County Highway Superintendent is appointed to this position by the Board of County Commissioners.
