Landfill and Recycling Center | City of Winner

Items accepted at the landfill are: concrete, leaves, grass, garden waste, branches, untreated wood, treated wood, iron/metal, aluminum, clothes, furniture, empty washed out paint cans, carpet, shingles, washers, dryers, glass, batteries, small dead animals, large dead animals, tires, refrigerators and freezers and air conditioners (must have FREON removed and tagged) Items not accepted at the landfill are: plastic of any type, TV's, microwaves, stereos, cardboard. (Please put these items in your normal garbage) Recycling Center will purchase aluminum are the current market rate per pound. Newspapers, regular paper, and magazines should be separated. Cardboard should be broken down and dry. Tin cans need to have paper removed and be washed out.
