Animal Licenses can only be obtained online or in person from Police Records at the Sioux Falls Police Department.
Any pet six months or older must be licensed and vaccinated for rabies. The license lasts anywhere from one to three years. After getting the license, a tag will be sent to you. Replacement tags are available at the Law Enforcement Center for $1.
