Missouri Valley Recycling Center | City of Vermillion

A drop-off facility provided though the cooperative effort of cities and counties in Southeastern South Dakota. The facility is available to the public and businesses located in Clay, Yankton, and portions of Union County and is operated through the Joint Solid Waste Authority. Recyclable materials accepted: plastic #1 and #2, tin cans, aluminum cans (market share price paid for aluminum cans), newspaper, corrugated cardboard, cereal, beer, pop, shoeboxes, and lightweight press board, computer and white paper, mixed office and pastel paper (includes junk mail & window envelopes), shred office paper, magazines, catalogs, and slicks, books and phone books, and scrap metals - clean aluminum, brass, and copper Satellite drop off trailers are available at the following locations: southwest side of Barstow Park on Dartmouth Street, Vermillion High School parking lot - 1001 E. Main, Vermillion Liquor Store - 826 Cottage Avenue, and Pump N' Pak - Corner of Stanford and Cherry Street.
