Description

AARP is offering an Alternative Tax Preparation Program, where TAX-AIDE volunteers can coach individuals while they do their own taxes on the computer using one of the available free tax prep software. Visit the website below and: Click on: Get Started Click on: Learn More in the Prepare My Own Taxes section, which is what AARP calls the Alternative Tax Preparation model. And then, Request Help, which will take you to the form to Submit a Request. A volunteer will reach out to schedule a time. The turn around time frame for this service is roughly 3-5 days.
