South Dakotans 60 years of age or older who have a household income at or below 150-percent of the federal poverty income guidelines published annually by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

South Dakotans age 60 and older who have an approved application will receive a monthly box of non-perishable food at no cost. Packages include a variety of foods, such as cheese, juice, oats, ready-to-eat cereal, rice, pasta, peanut butter, dry beans, canned meat, poultry, or fish, canned fruits and vegetables, and many times a canned entree such as beef stew or chili. Menus change monthly. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
