Eligibility

Property must be owned and occupied by a paraplegic veteran. The injury of the applicant does not have to be service-related in order to qualify. There are no income limits that must be met. Un-remarried surviving spouses of veterans are also eligible. Once approved, the exemption remains until the property is transferred or sold.
