Description
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Through service, friendship, and leadership, we're committed to making a lasting impact. The Mitchell Club is an active group in our community. Through service projects, donations, and fundraisers, we help fill in the gaps that are needed to promote a healthy community and healthy children. Service Projects: Kiwanis Woodlot Park, Mitchell's first handicap accessible park, blankets for first responders to hand out to kids involved in emergencies, filling the little free libraries around town with books, volunteering with youth serving agencies. Fundraisers: Annual Spaghetti Dinner, Baseball Tournament, Palace City Kiwanis Half Marathon/5k/10k, and Supermarket Sweep.
