Description

Accepts items that can be deposited at the rubble site. Items that are accepted: construction and demolition debris, trees and untreated wood, waste tires, white goods/metals such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, freezers, stoves, water heaters, and other recyclable scrap metals, yard waste, and other waste such as furniture. Items that are NOT accepted: hazardous waste such as waste oil, solvents, ash, etc., pesticide containers, regulated asbestos-containing materials, lead-acid batteries, municipal solid waste and household garbage, liquid waste such as tar, contaminated water, used motor oil, etc., treated wood, cardboard, plastic, Styrofoam, packaging materials, sealants, dead animals, soil contaminated with fuels or pesticides, and electronic wastes. The Rubble Site Attendant can exercise discretion to reject any and all materials. Accepted and non-accepted items are subject to change.
