The W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds is available as a venue to host year round events that are both public and/or private. The Sioux Empire Fair Association is the organizing association of the Sioux Empire Fair and Bulls & Broncs. Many other events such as rodeos, live stock shows and sales, flea markets, motor cross events, dog shows, and concert venue.

The W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds is managed by the Sioux Empire Fair Association, Inc. The association plans the annual Sioux Empire Fair in August and rents out many of the facilities to event planners and select tenants. Camping and stalling is also available on the fairgrounds.
