Month of Caring Registration | United Way of the Black Hills

Hosted in September, Month of Caring gathers volunteers from businesses throughout the area to complete projects for non-profit organizations or individuals. Projects include, but not limited to: yard work, cleaning, light construction, painting, moving, fixing, organizing/filing, and sorting/packing. Project recipient options include private individuals (elderly, disabled, military personnel, etc.), United Way partner agencies, social welfare organizations, civic agencies (parks, schools), and private non-profit organizations and faith-based organizations.

Call to request assistance or volunteer to help.

Fee

Individuals in need of assistance must supply project materials. Volunteers will provide the manpower.

Eligibility

Non-profit organizations or individuals in need of assistance in the Rapid City, Sturgis, Northern and Southern Hills areas. All projects subject to screening for safety.
