Organization that offers help in researching genealogy and hosts a monthly meeting. Due paying members receive a 3 issues yearly publication called the Pioneer Pathfinder. Volunteers are available to assist with genealogical research at the library at the Old Court House Museum. Please call for appointment. Available sources are Local land maps (Late 1880's - present), Censuses of SD, Federal Soundex Census of 1900, 1920 SD Census Soundex, Cemetery records, Family histories, Obituaries, Pioneers of South Dakota, 2000 books of geneology sources, 1880 Census, and many other publications.

Meeting: 7:00pm (CT), 1st Thursday of month (except June, July, and August) Research assistance: 12:00pm - 4:00pm (CT), Monday - Friday. Additional times with prior arrangement. Contact by phone or email prior to visiting is suggested.
