Description
Manages the City's golf course, its parks, its public pool, and the Summer Recreation Program for kids. Provides information on Emerald Ash Borers and tree planting as well as processes applications for tree planting. Included among the 8 parks is McHardy Park, which offers a sledding hill and Ice Skating and Hockey, and Pioneer Park, which provides a 9-hole disc golf course. The Department also oversees the Brandon Soccer Complex which offers 11 soccer fields and hosts soccer tournaments.
