The Auditor is the keeper of County records and acts as a bookkeeper of County business. The Auditor is responsible for County Commissioner meetings including scheduling, agenda, business follow-up. Duties also include preparing the County's budget, audit bills or other claims against the County and prepare the warrants in payment of these bills, figuring the mil levy, and the head election officer of the County. Online Chats: Live, weekly online chats provide a friendly forum to share experiences and chat with others about anything from the initial phase of diagnosis to treatment and survivorship. The SSVF program provides homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing services to help Veteran families keep, or rapidly transition to permanent housing. Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) is a supplemental food program that enables eligible households to obtain a more nutritious diet. Eligibility is determined by income, resources, and household size. Lost, stolen, or damaged EBT (SNAP) cards must call customer service to report the loss of your card. You will need to enter the card number. If you do not have the card, stay on the line for a second prompt and press 2. Reporting an EBT card as lost, stolen, or damaged will result in that card being declined.

Must be behind (i.e.: if rent is due on the 5th, come for assistance after the 5th). Eviction notice is not required, however, there will be a form the landlord needs to complete the verify rent is past due.

Provides drug and alcohol treatment for adolescents ages 13 - 17 years of age who are enrolled as a member of a federally recognized Tribe or able to show the lineal descendancy. It is a rolling admission and can be anywhere from 90 - 120 days.

COVID Testing Option: ​Oyate Health Center Urgent Care 3200 Canyon Lake Drive 7:00am - 7:00pm (MT), 7 days a week Christmas Eve closes at 3pm (MT). Closed on Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Oyate Health Center provides primary medical care, outpatient clinic, and urgent care. Additional outpatient services that are provided on site include optometry, pharmacy (Prescription Drug Take Back Site, blue drop-box by pharmacy), laboratory, radiology, dental, physical therapy, podiatry, and social services. Oyate Health Center has 2 sweat lodges. Please call for details. Oyate Health Center provides direct health services to Native Americans and provides contract health care services and referrals to those that are eligible within IHS requirements. This means that if a patient is enrolled in a federally recognized tribe or can prove lineage of descent of an enrolled tribal member; the patient may receive direct care services at Oyate Health Center. Prescription Assistance - Any Native American enrolled in a federally recognized tribe can receive prescription expense assistance at any IHS facility.

American's with Disabilities Act: Serves as educators and consultants for contractors, businesses, organizations, and individuals regarding the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) and its guidelines and requirements. Assistive Daily Living Services: Provides services for people ages 18 and older, with physical disabilities affecting all four limbs, who need assistance with daily living activities. Services include program education and support and personal attendant services. Home Again South Dakota: Provides options for older adults and/or people with disabilities living in nursing homes, hospitals, or long-term care facilities to enable them to successfully return to their homes and communities. Helps individuals identify barriers to living on their own, helps them find a place to live that meets their needs, and helps them find the services and supports they need to continue living independently.

Provides support services to people with disabilities and elderly individuals to assist with living independently. Services provided include: individual and systems advocacy, information and referral, peer support, independent living skills, transitions in living arrangements, home modifications, housing, employment services, recreational services, technology adaptive services, and transportation services.

Sioux Area Metro (SAM) provides intra-city public transportation. SAM provides a fixed route transit service for the general public and a Paratransit service for citizens that cannot ride the fixed-route bus. Individuals desiring to utilize Paratransit services should call to set-up an interview to determine eligibility. There are several options regarding how to pay the bus fare: Pay on Bus: Each bus entrance has a fare box where you can pay with cash. Insert your fare into the fare box next to the driver, then take a seat. Make sure you have exact change because our drivers cannot make change. Pay via Phone: Passes can be purchased over the phone by calling Sioux Area Metro and providing a debit card number.

• Pay from Token Transit App: The app can be downloaded on a cell phone and individuals can buy and send passes to other individuals through the app. Once the ticket is purchased, show the pulsing circle on the app to the bus driver.

Pay from a SAM location: Passes can be purchased from the Bus Stop located at 120 E. 11th Street or the Sioux Area Metro Office, 500 E. 6th Street. Passes may be purchased with cash (change provided) or credit card.

ICAP Emergency Services helps with emergency utilities and rent (Rent assistance is NOT available to those residing in Sioux Falls) for income qualified households. Must meet all requirements. Also offers food pantry vouchers to those who qualify (cannot receive SNAP).

Eligible participants may receive a voucher, which is used to purchase garden seeds and/or live plants which helps to ensure that the participating households have access to fresh fruits and vegetables, which helps them to maintain nutritional well-being. If funding allows, the participants can also purchase canning or preserving supplies so that they can save some of the produce for use in future months.

Each conference seeks to serve the gaps in services in the communities they serve. Friends in need may be offered referral to other agencies, advocacy, or direct assistance which may include utility bill and rent assistance payments, clothing or pharmacy to meet basic, immediate needs.

Provides moving assistance within Sioux Falls city limits to individuals and families who financially cannot afford to physically move to a better or safer living condition. The Moving Assistance Program requires a 2 week advanced notice and does not provide financial assistance of any kind. Assistance with packing and unpacking is not provided and must be done in advance.
