Programs include: Homebuyers Program - Provides down payment financial assistance to enrolled Sisseton-Wahpeton Tribal members who are seeking to purchase a primary home. Housing Authority - Provides decent, safe and sanitary housing for all Tribal members seeking to eradicate substandard housing and eliminate homelessness through provision of supportive services and financial assistance programs. - T Yamni Program - One-Stop Homeownership Program assists Tribal members with homeownership opportunities. Repeat home buyer loan program offers low interest, fixed rate mortgage loans and cash assistance Governors' House Program for income qualified individuals and families. Administers federal programs for development and management of multifamily housing, housing counseling, and homelessness services. Home buyer education Down payment assistance Home improvement loans i.e.. CHIP (Community Home Improvement Program) which is for low income homeowners (limit is 120% of median income) to make repairs or improvements to their home. Interest rate is 2.9%.
