Offering studio, 1 and 2 bedroom apartment options. All units are drug and alcohol free, and income restricted for affordable independent living. Applications are required with $40.00 app fee for screening through Lloyd Property Management. Glory House full treatment and outpatient services are available through referrals.

The USDA subsidizes over 15,000 section 515 rural multi-family apartment complexes throughout the 50 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands and Guam. Properties are classified as Elderly or Family and provide unit sizes from studio to 4 bedroom. The properties are serviced by approved Management Agencies who provide required annual tenant certification processing for their residents. Rental Assistance - The USDA PROVIDES project-based Rental Assistance for over 250,000 apartment units throughout the nation. Tenants receiving Rental Assistance pay no more than 30% of their adjusted income for rent. Eligibility is determined by income standards set at the state and county level. Provides subsidized housing assistance to low income families. Preference is given to elderly, disabled, and those experiencing domestic violence situations. Family Self Sufficiency Program available to families that participate in the Section 8 Voucher Program.

Administers the Housing Choice Voucher program in Codington and Clark Counties. Applicants must meet income guidelines established by HUD and meet eligibility requirements with regard to a criminal background. When leased on the program clients will spend at least 30% of their adjusted monthly income but no more than 40% of their adjusted monthly income towards rent and utilities, with a minimum rent of $50. They are required to sign a one-year lease when admitted to the program. WHA owns and manages a 60 unit Hi-Rise building for elderly/disabled individuals and 25 scattered family units in Watertown under the Public Housing program. Applicants must meet income guidelines established by HUD and meet eligibility requirements with regards to a criminal background. Previous landlord references are also required with application. Tenants are required to pay at least 30% of their monthly adjusted income towards rent and utilities.

Administers the federal section 8 Housing Choice voucher program an income based program with assistance for the disabled, elderly, and working poor. Program has a waiting list and does not have emergency assistance, process includes filling out an application to be on the waiting list. As vouchers become available, applications are processed for eligibility certification. If a family is determined eligible, they will receive a Housing Choice Voucher to be used in existing rental housing that is not subsidized through another program. Lists of subsidized housing and rental properties are available.

Administers HUD's Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program. The Voucher Program is the federal government's major program for assisting very low-income families, the elderly, and the disabled to afford decent, safe, and sanitary housing in the private market. Since housing assistance is provided on behalf of the family or individual, participants are able to find their own housing, including single-family homes and apartments. The participant is free to choose any housing that meets the requirements of the program and is not limited to units located in subsidized housing projects.

Provides housing options for adults living with disabilities. Westview Apartments is an HUD approved and subsidized housing complex. The complex has one bedroom and efficiency apartments only.

This is a tenant-based voucher program for persons or families who are homeless and have struggled with chronic homelessness and suffer from severe and persistent mental health issues. It allows qualified individuals/families to receive rental assistance in the unit of their choice as long as it meets HUD's Housing Quality Standards. The assistance travels with the tenant and can be transferred anywhere within the city limits of Sioux Falls. The client must agree to participate in case management.

Provides low-income housing with reasonable accommodation and fair housing policy.

Provides nutrition and supportive services for the aging population with a primary focus on the elderly. These include assisted living, case management, congregate meals, employment services, financial assistance, government assisted housing, home delivered meals, home modification/repair, information and referral/assistance, legal assistance, personal care, respite care, telephone reassurance, transportation, and volunteer services.

Provides housing assistance for at-risk individuals with credit problems, poor rental history (damage or unpaid rent), or criminal background and have difficulty finding housing. Program requirements include a source of income, a unit that is affordable, and monthly home visits.
