Work related transportation is for individuals who are employed (not those searching/looking for work, or needing to get to medical appointments, out of town travel, etc.):

Bethesda Help at Home offers companionship, transportation services, and assistance with personal cares. Additional nursing services may be available upon request.

The CWOY Support Navigator program is designed to provide support for American Indian youth, adults, and their families in the He Sapa area who struggle with suicidal thoughts or behaviors. CWOY Support Navigators act as mentors, advocates, and resource guides for American Indian youth, adults, and families needing support for their healing and personal growth. Services offered include one-on-one mentorship, advocacy, individualized care planning, outings, activities and workshops, transportation to appointments, collaboration with behavioral health resources, coordination for success in academic programs, communication with family members, connecting participants to peer and community programs in support of healing goals, skill-building, mental health counseling, and therapeutic circles.

The Union County Veterans Service Office (VSO) educates and assists veterans and their dependents and/or survivors in applying for veterans' benefits including benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs and the State of South Dakota. Personal Care, refers to non-medical home care that helps individual maintain independence and improve their quality of life at home. Services offered are assistance with daily living activities (ADLs), meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, companionship, and transportation for errands, attend appointments, and participate in community activities.

STEPS: Provides outreach and transportation for youth who need help removing barriers to housing, education, self-care, and community connections. This program also serves youth who are considered houseless (which could mean frequent runaway, couch surfing with friends or family, unaccompanied youth, living in hotels or in shelters). Safe Passage: Provides safety for youth as they travel to and from school through a trusted adult presence designed to be there for the youth and their families. The program helps identify any barriers each family faces to get their children to school, after-school programs, events, and partner programs in a timely and safe manner. Safe Passage allows the development of relationships with youth and their parents, intervenes in and mediates potential conflicts, and connects youth and their support systems to needed resources. High Risk Intervention (HRI): Program focuses on redirecting youth with a history of engaging in violent or gang-related behaviors into more positive youth-related activities.
