Services include supportive housing for adults, rapid re-housing for families, homeless prevention for families, rental assistance, utility assistance, financial advising and education, food box program, clothing closet for adult and children, representative payee services for individuals on SSI/SSDI, and street outreach.

The Bishop Dudley Hospitality House provides shelter, laundry facilities, and showers, for homeless individuals and families. Services include 80 Men's beds, 20 Women's beds, 7 Family rooms, Laundry Facilities, and Showers.
Guests need to be able to care for themselves in order to be able to stay at BDHH. Guests can use wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, knee scooters, etc. but must be independently mobile if using these items.
Beds are on a first come / first serve basis, beds cannot be reserved. Families with children under 18 can only stay in the family rooms.
Intake for Family Rooms: Please call ahead to check on availability of family rooms. A background check (available for free through the Clerk of Courts) will be required as part of the application. After receiving a printed background check, ask for the Family Coordinator to set up an intake appointment.
A locker program is available for individuals to rent at $10.00/week or $30.00/month. Guests may be eligible for "chore exchange" to earn a locker. Please speak to staff to learn eligibility requirements.
Individuals who work overnight are permitted to sleep during the day with documentation of work schedule. These individuals can make arrangements with staff to be let into the shelter after their shift is over.
Individuals who are intoxicated are able to stay at the House as long as they are able to take care of themselves.

Safety and Home Grant Program - Provides up to $5,000 grants to income eligible homeowners for qualifying health and safety repair projects (including sidewalk repair).
Rental Rehabilitation Program - Up to $30,000 per rental unit; $100,000 maximum per project, depending on equity. Funds may be used to replace roofs, siding, insulation, exterior painting or installing energy efficient windows and doors. Funding may also be used for interior updates.
Single Family Housing Rehabilitation Program - provides financial and technical assistance for housing rehabilitation needs including but not limited to roofs, doors, stairs, painting, insulation, handicap accessibility, windows, electrical, plumbing and furnace replacements. Maintenance repairs are not included in this program.
Emergency Mobile Home Repair Program - provides up to $5,000 to help pay for emergency repairs. Maintenance repairs are not included in this program.
Neighborhood Revitalization Program - designed to remove dilapidated housing structures which are unsafe, and replace with new affordable housing options. New, owner-occupied residential structures constructed and eligible for income qualified households to purchase.

The Connection Center is a place for people in the community to call in and feel heard. Connection Center volunteers help assess the needs of the caller and are able to provide a referral to the most appropriate help source. Once their need is verified and understood more fully, participants work side-by-side with church volunteers. The end goal is that once their resource or need is met, they have a relationship built and they feel like they have strength to step out of their situation.

Those in Pre-Kindergarten through 4th grade will receive a budget of $50.00 each. 5th grade through 12th grade will receive a budget of $65.00 each.
Registration is online only and ends on July 25, 2024.
Shopping days will be Wednesday, August 14 and Thursday, August 15, 2024.
