Eligibility for this program includes proof of financial stability, including paying own rent for 3 months, adequate income to pay bills and being current on bills, volunteer service required to receive furniture. Linens and bedding of all sizes and household items, such as pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, coffee pot, toaster, microwave or other small electrical appliances may be provided as available. People must live in their residence before applying. Home medical equipment needs are also available. Referrals to an area agency or services provided by area churches and volunteers through the Clearinghouse will be offered as appropriate.

Place for people in the community to call in and feel heard. Connection Center volunteers help assess the needs of the caller and are able to provide a referral to the most appropriate help source. Once their need is verified and understood more fully, participants work side-by-side with church volunteers. The end goal is that once their resource or need is met, they have a relationship built and they feel like they have strength to step out of their situation.
