Providing assistance to those in need. May be able to help with rent, utilities, clothing, furniture, household items or transportation. Assistance is provided on a case by case basis following an in-home visit.
Transitional housing for up to 20 males. Typically a meeting happens with the inmate prior to release, but might be able to help people already release if space is available. Program also helps anyone re-entering society after incarceration including finding employment, clothes, furniture, etc. (based on what is currently available). An independent entity working alongside and in cooperation with Cornerstone Prison Church (prison congregation in Sioux Falls), Livingstone Prison Church (prison congregation in Springfield), and Metal Craft Industries.

Sells home furnishings, appliances, and home improvement goods to the general public at a fraction of retail prices. Also builds ramps, eliminates trip hazards, make accessibility modifications, and install grab bars. ​The items are donated, new and gently used, by individuals, corporations, businesses, and contractors. Proceeds from ReStore sales fund Habitat's Aging in Place program to help folks stay in their homes safely, for longer. The ReStore also diverts thousands of pounds of waste from the landfill each year.

St. Vincent DePaul (SVDP) Thrift Stores throughout the United States are mutually formed in an association of lay employees and volunteers dedicated to serve needy sisters and brothers. For those who cannot afford the clothing, furniture and other household items may be provided them through a Vincentian referral/voucher system. The SVDP Thrift Store aims to serve the needs of people in our community, show people the love of Jesus, and generate money to meet the physical needs of people in need of housing, clothing, gas, food, etc. Surplus funds will be dedicated to the support of Parish Conferences and charitable causes of the Society approved by our District Council.

​Black Hills Area Habitat for Humanity Restores accept donations of overstocked, discontinued, new and used building materials donated by manufacturers, stores, contractors and individuals. These donated items are sold to the public to help serve individuals and families with affordable housing solutions. Please note regarding air conditioners - there may be window ac units for purchase, however these are donated units. There is no income based scale/program to receive a discount on these units.

Sales of donated home building and home goods at the Habitat Sioux Falls ReStore enable us to build an additional two homes a year, as well as keep over 425 tons of reusable material out of the landfill each year.
