Hygiene Kits for Agencies | Journey of Hope
Provides hygiene products to organizations located in and serving communities in Minnehaha and Lincoln counties in South Dakota. Organizations requesting products must serve individuals experiencing hygiene insecurity and either hold 501(c)3 status or be a government agency or school.
Nonprofit agencies requesting products can now complete requests on website. Please put down total request/need for all products so staff can better understand needs. Depending on product availability, requests will be fulfilled as much as possible.

A private, non-profit, anti-poverty corporation whose purpose is to make a positive impact upon the causes and effects of poverty. This agency operates the following programs:
Air Conditioners - Must be income eligible (125%), be signed up at the agency and have a medical statement stating they need an AC. Also cannot have received one in the last 3 years. Distribution is primarily in June of each year. Please call for an appointment.
Medical Equipment Lending - Available for those in need of bathtub seats, shower and tub rails.
Thrift Store - Low cost items with proceeds going to fund free food and special projects. 9:00am - 4:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Assesses service-ready individuals, co-responds to crisis intervention, provides and facilitates service referrals, and provides transportation to safe locations in the community. Street Outreach also provides relatives transportation to medical appointments and court appearances.

Services provided include computers and phone/fax - Guests can use, at no charge, for resume and employment/job searching; and Pastoral Care - Individuals can receive one on one counseling with the pastoral team, including getting connected with the Earn-Your-Way program.

A monthly ecumenical worship service with children's activities. Each service is hosted by a ministry partner. Worship is followed by a community meal/picnic. Hygiene kits, and snack bags are available based on supply. Need not attend worship to receive the meal, hygiene kits, and snack bags. All are welcome.
