Public Works & Engineering Division | City of Aberdeen

Oversees the following divisions of the City of Aberdeen: Street Maintenance, Solid Waste, Traffic Control, Utilities, the Water Treatment Plant, and the Water Reclamation Facility. These divisions are responsible for the maintenance and improvement of roads and alleys, snow removal, solid waste collection, contracted recycling, traffic control measures, the maintenance of all water main, sewer main, storm sewer, and drainage ways, treatment and conveyance of drinking water, and the conveyance, treatment, and discharge of waste water.

Finance Office | City of Selby

City Hall | City of Beresford

Serves as a central location for Beresford residents to find information about the community and city governments. Residents can pay city-owned utility bills and BeresfordTel bills, apply for utilities, apply for internet, telephone, and cable, register to vote or update voter registration, drop off UPS/FedEx packages that have a pre-paid label, pursue building permits, register for dog tag licenses, and purchase pool passes. City Hall also offers a public notary service. The mayor and city council make decisions about the future of the city, act as a board of the local utilities, act as a board of the equalization on property taxes, and make ordinances and regulations. Beresford City Council meets twice a month at City Hall. These meetings are open to the public. If an individual wants to address the council, they should call city hall or email the city administrator. The functions of the City Administrator vary between municipalities, but they generally include overseeing city departments, coordinating between city government departments, and engaging with residents of the city. The Finance Officer oversees all aspects of the City's finances.

City Departments | City of Philip

City Administrator - is the funnel for information between the City Council, City Staff, and State and Federal agencies. The City Administrator assists in the preparation of the annual City budget, recommends policy directions to the City Council, oversees long range planning, directing the activities of city departments and carries out all other duties as prescribed. Finance Office is responsible for managing the fiscal affairs of the City. This includes monitoring accounting services, cash and asset management, payroll, financial reporting and utility billing. City utilities include water, sewer and garbage collection services. Public Works department oversees the maintenance of the streets, alleys, storm sewer, water and sewer systems, rubble site and airport. Planning & Zoning Committee is responsible for preparing and maintaining the City's Comprehensive Plan, administering and enforcing zoning and subdivision regulations, enforcing building codes, and carrying out ordinances for permits and inspection. Building Committee which is comprised of three council members is designated as the building inspector for the City. Together, they review permits and make recommendation to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Parks and Recreation include a swimming pool that is open during the summer months. Area parks are maintained by local organizations.
