​Huron Community Campus is a partnership campus designed and implemented to replace the lost opportunity of post secondary education with the closing of Si Tanka/Huron University in 2005. This educational model is defined as a physical location where two or more institutions collaborate to deliver academic programs and student services. Huron Community Campus is directed by a board appointed by the Mayor and City Commission. Cornerstones Career Learning Center is currently offering community education courses. Dakota State University Student Counseling Center offers a variety of support services to students to assist students academically, socially and personally including academic counseling, personal counseling, substance use counseling, and alcohol, drug abuse and violence prevention and education. Office of Disability Services works to ensure the environment is physically and programmatically accessible. ADA Advisor works with students with disabilities to coordinate accommodations based on their individual needs.

Western Dakota Technical College is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The college offers over 40 programs that lead to a certificate, diploma, or Associate of Applied Science degree. These career-focused programs are designed to prepare students for high-demand fields across South Dakota and beyond. Multi-purpose facility with theatre and conference center available. The facility is available on a daily rental basis for conferences, wedding receptions, entertainment, etc. Seating for theatre: 650, seating for conference: 500.

Offers cleaning, x-rays, fluoride, sealants, preventive dental work, oral hygiene instructions, night guards, and bleaching done by dental hygiene students / dentists at a reduced rate.

Provides year round 24 hours a day / 7 days a week law enforcement service for South Dakota State University. Police officers are state trained and certified with full law enforcement authority.

Provides audiology services for individuals with hearing loss, tinnitus, and other sound sensitivity disorders. Provides hearing aid fits, Cochlear Implants, and tinnitus treatment options.

Offers opportunities through a variety of degrees including programs in the healthcare, business, and teaching fields. Two-year, four-year, and graduate degrees offered.

University of Sioux Falls offers a variety of support services to its students including Campus Safety, Safe Walk Program, student counseling services, veteran benefits, residential life, disability services, dining services and tutoring.

Provides individual psychotherapy for children/adolescents/adults, couples and family therapy, diagnostic assessments including ADHD and learning disability testing, consultation services, and presentations and workshops for groups, associations, schools, agencies, and businesses around the Vermillion area.

Promoting the health and wellness of the university community to enhance student retention and to support academic and personal success of all students. Provides access to a health clinic as well as mental health screenings and counseling. These services are only offered for currently enrolled SDSU students.
