Vector means anything that can spread a disease. This office focuses primarily on insect vectors, such as mosquitoes. However, many other insect related concerns also come through this department.

The Street Division is responsible for over 300 lane miles. The division continuously evaluates city streets, equipment, materials, and personnel in order to provide a safe network of streets, traffic control systems, and mosquito abatement. The division also implements stormwater maintenance programs and responds to citizens' requests and concerns, while operating in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. Also provides licenses for parade permits and street closures.
